The crew · Las Vegas, NV

We take the work seriously. Ourselves, a little less so.

A small Las Vegas team that does sharp tax strategy, clean books, and straight answers — without the stiff accounting-firm energy. Meet the people who'll actually pick up the phone.

The Adam Hodson CPA team — Adam, Karen, Brit, Ed, and Vanessa in the Las Vegas office

The crew, assembled. Minus the hockey gear.

Adam Hodson, CPA — Founder & Lead Advisor
“The Talent” · Founder
Founder & Lead Advisor

Adam Hodson

A practicing CPA for 20+ years who loves teaching business owners the most profitable way to run their business — and occasionally takes some of his own advice from his staff.

He built Adam Hodson CPA on the belief that Las Vegas business owners deserve a year-round advisor, not a once-a-year tax filer. When he's not in the office, you'll find him at the ice rink playing hockey (poorly).

The supporting cast

The people who make the magic happen.

Karen Stephenson, The One In Charge
The One In Charge

Karen Stephenson

A pro at everything accounting — tax prep, bookkeeping, payroll, and management. Karen has been “managing” Adam's business for years and will keep him focused on his goals whether he likes it or not.

Brit Hansel, The Chaos Coordinator
The Chaos Coordinator

Brit Hansel

Brittney has spent years working behind the scenes making sure hundreds of client files move properly through our tax prep process each year. Excels at doing what she's supposed to do — instead of what Adam tells her to do. A lover of coffee and her dog (who features prominently on social media).

Ed Reding, The Pretzel Guy
The Pretzel Guy

Ed Reding

Decades of tax and accounting experience, but knows there are more things in life than tax returns. Like a hard pretzel that's rolled instead of stamped. Hard to find — worth it when you do.

Vanessa VanBeek, The Canuck
The Canuck

Vanessa VanBeek

Our newest addition, recently relocated to Las Vegas from Canada with her husband and four kids. Years of front-office experience, plus a packed schedule of kids' sporting events and (Canadian) sports from the couch.

Quietly competent. Occasionally funny. Always picks up the phone.

We think your CPA should feel like the most useful person in your contacts — not the one you avoid until April. That starts with a team you actually like talking to.
